TIMELINE

2015

First menu for the device could only be controlled with a bespoke remote, which proved to be not intuitive for the users. The company decided to remake the menu into a motion-controlled one, with the remote as a secondary function for more complicated options.

The quality of display and motion detection as a trigger for interactivity had a big impact on the design. Just like with the games, there could only be a limited amount of interactive elements and their preferred location was on a side of the screen.
